Girls & Young women from 11th Company, Zimbabwe

Commemorated on the 25th of November every year, the girls observed it early since they have their fellowship every Saturday. The day, marks the beginning of the 10 Days of Activism Against Violence, and the girls, including the Explorers could identify forms of violence that they face. They had an opportunity to empower each other on how to handle these issues. Some had testimonies which saw Officers identifying girls who need help.
The day ended with girls telling stories through drawings, the colourful drawings were later put up on the church’s notice board and the following day the congregants appreciated the lesson so much.

It was hoped that this would help the girls and as they continued to observe the 10 days. The girls gained more knowledge on how to handle violence perpetrated against girls.

Please join us in praying for girls & young women who are affected by this issue.
