January 2026 Reflection

The theme “Step out in Faith” encourages us as individuals and as the body of Christ to take bold actions based on the trust and confidence we have in God. It signifies the importance of moving beyond comfort zones and acting in alignment with our beliefs and God’s will for us, even when the outcome appears uncertain. As we move into the new year and step out in faith, here are a few elements to keep in mind.

1. Trusting God
Stepping out in faith requires trusting that God will guide and support each one of us on our journey. It acknowledges that faith isn’t just a feeling but an active decision to rely on God’s promises.

2. Taking risks
Faith often involves taking risks – whether in pursuing dreams, serving others, speaking out or making significant life changes. It means being willing to face challenges with the assurance that God is with us.

3. Growth and transformation
When we step out in faith, we open ourselves to growth, learning and transformation. This journey can reveal strengths, purpose, and new paths that God has in store for us.

4. Community and support
Stepping out in faith can be strengthened through community. Encouragement and support from each other can help us take those initial, sometimes daunting, steps. Let us make it our mission this year to encourage and support one leader or girl who is struggling with an issue. Let us be there for each other and share testimonies.
