August Reflection – Refresh our Faith

As I sit looking out my study window on this winter day in Sydney Australia, I’m remaindered that the trees will be bursting forth with new leaves and garden beds will be awaking soon with Spring just around the corner.
We all have a winter in our lives, where we need to sit and refresh our faith and personal walk with the Lord.
Over the many years that I have been in Girls’ Brigade I can reflect on the times with I have been low and high in my journey with Christ and the girls that I have encountered in Brigade. There have been times when we laugh and cry and speak encouraging words to them. I experienced all these things when growing up in Brigade, so now it is my time to hand back to the girls of today what my Officers/Leaders encouraged and taught me. Times have changed so much over the years, and we need to change with them.
During these times, we just put everything on the Lord, He always hears and guides us to the right way and answers.
Just as spring is coming, I’m looking forward to the seeds that we are sowing in our company and community, growing our girls for Christ, Enriching God’s Wonderful World.
