Spotlight Country Profiles
Spotlight is a series of leaflets designed to teach our members about the lives of their Girls’ Brigade sisters around the world.
The Girls’ Brigade is a massive global family. Like all families, we have a lot in common. But there are also lots of things that make our work in each country unique.
Do you know…

How can I use Spotlight in my group?
The information in a Spotlight profile is a great starting point for discussing the work of The Girls’ Brigade around the world. The leaflets can be used to supplement other activities that involve learning about different countries. Several of the profiles contain recipes, activities or facts that you can use as the base for a quiz. These are great ice-breakers that are sure to get your group taking.
The Spotlight leaflets work particularly well in conjunction with our 2019 Fruitful and Overflowing: Be Joyful resource, which is designed to help girls celebrate and learn what it means to live life to the full in different cultural contexts.
You can also use the profiles in times of reflection and prayer for other countries.
