Step out in faith spiritual resource 2026

This resource has been prepared by Aruk Omori (IVP Africa) assisted by Bupe Nachilima (Capacity Building & Leadership Development) and Corod. Omolewa Oyebode (Africa Millennial Ambassador).

The Leader’s guide accompanies the 1-year spiritual resource for girls (ages 4 – 30). It is rooted in scripture:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”  Joshua 1:9

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”  Hebrews 11:1

We pray this resource will help all those using it to step out in faith onto the journey God has for each one.

Fun & games resource 2026

The Girls’ Brigade International wants to equip GB members to transform the lives of girls and young women worldwide. Whilst the expression of this varies depending on the different contexts in which we work, the desire to create a fun and engaging programme is universal. Alongside a spiritual core, this is often achieved through activities such as games, crafts and cooking. Created by a team of GB leaders from across GB Europe, this resource aims to provide inspiration for new activities to try.

We hope this resource can be used by all members of our Girls’ Brigade International family. The activities included are designed for a variety of different ages and use materials we hope are accessible to most. Please feel free to adapt the content as needed to be suitable for the girls and young women you work with.

The resource is in 3 sections which you can download separately: games, recipes and crafts from around our international family. Whilst these can be used in isolation, why not use them to run a Fellowship themed night.

Soar like an Eagle spiritual resource 2025

This resource has been prepared by Bupe Nachilima, International Capacity Building and Leadership Development Co-ordinator for The Girls’ Brigade International. It is inspired by God’s word to us in Isaiah chapter 40. We pray this resource will help all those using it to “soar like an eagle” as they learn more about the wonderful plans and provision God has for each one of us.

We have created a certificate to mark the achievement of those who have completed all twelve lessons in the resource. Captains / Team Leaders may request a digital version of this from their National Boards.

Prayer Resource 2025

We are pleased to share this prayer resource with you. It was prepared for our annual International Day of Prayer on 10 June 2025. The IPC joined in person with GB Jamaica to pray for our worldwide family. Our heart is for every country where The Girls’ Brigade is active to be covered in prayer, so we invite and encourage you to continue to pray wherever you are. We hope this resource will be really useful for our members and groups around the world.
