Advent is a time of joyful expectation, as we prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming. As girls and women of faith we have a unique opportunity to celebrate the joy that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Let us cultivate peace within ourselves and in our relationships. In this busy season, it’s easy to become distracted by the hustle and bustle. Let us remember the reason for the Season. True peace comes from spending time in prayer and reflection, allowing God’s presence to calm our hearts. May we be instruments of hope, peace, joy and love in our families, our communities and beyond, fostering understanding and creating a tapestry of love that connects us and draws us closer to God.

HOPE – In a world that often feels overwhelming, we can sometimes find ourselves grappling with uncertainty and fear. Advent reminds us of the hope that shines brightly in the darkness.

JOY – Let us always remember to create moments of joy whether through sharing a meal, exchanging stories or simply being present with one another. Joy is contagious. Let’s spread it this season far and wide!

LOVE – At the centre of Advent is God’s love for us demonstrated through the gift of Jesus. Let us embody God’s love in our daily lives, reaching out to those in need, serving our communities and nurturing the relationships we hold dear.

As we move through this advent season, let us remember that we are part of a beautiful worldwide community of women and girls, each contributing our unique gifts and perspectives. Let us support, uplift and inspire one another as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
